For new BlackBerry users would not understand how to save BlackBerry AutoText symbol. First Instance that you have to do is prepare the symbol that you want to store on your BlackBerry AutoText. 1. Open the menu ‘Options’ (with a picture of the wrench icon) and select ‘AutoText’.
2.Okay, now we create a new AutoText by pressing ‘Option’ (BlackBerry logo key on your BlackBerry), select ‘New’
3. Fill ‘Replace’ and ‘With’ with words and symbols you want a BlackBerry.
‘Replace’ – The contents of the word you want replaced with the symbol autotext your BlackBerry.
‘With’ – Copy and paste the BlackBerry AutoText symbol that you have downloaded.
4. If you have press the ‘Escape’ on your BlackBerry and ‘Save’. Okay symbols already stored in autotext on your BlackBerry, repeat the above steps to save symbols into your BlackBerry AutoText.
5. Every word you type will be automatically turned into a symbol after you hit ‘Space’ of course, after typing the word. Good luck
I use a blackberry pearl and yahoo. Every time I send an email from my blackberry, a copy of it shows in my “sent” folder in Yahoo. I don’t want any of the messages to save there. How do I get it to stop?
If I send mail through my regular account (on my laptop, not my blackberry) it doesn’t save a copy in the sent folder. Only when I send it using the blackberry….
It does not appear in my symbols menu, is there any way to do it?
